Vikashalaya in contrast to Vidyalaya(Vidya+Alaya meaning education centre) is a space for the development which is rooted in nature and its universal laws.
As they say there can be no better master than your own mistakes. Nature has its ways to teach you by the way of trial and error. It teaches you in all ways and means possible to teach what you need to know the most. Nature laws build resilience, altruism, empathy and harmony.
in the times where we realise that human effort has caused more destruction than harmony, its time to surrender to mother nature, listen to her guidance and act accordingly.
Matrikul is the learning home to the children who are destitute members of our society, reared and educated lovingly by our Matri-mentors. Our first matrikul is situated in Shantiniketan and others are yet to come up.
Vikashalaya works towards developing children as well as young adults in the shadow of mother nature.
Various courses run by vikashalaya also serves as a source of funding used for the sustainance needs of matrikul children.
You may choose to be a life member, member, volunteer, learner/ intern or NGO associate at vikashalaya. Vikashalaya looks forward for an open armed support from one and all.
